Hanabi Festival Clip

When I was living in Japan in 2002, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the yearly Okazaki Fireworks Festival. Every year on the first Saturday of August, in Okazaki Park there's a huge celebration at dusk on the shores of the Oto River. There's raft barges brightly lit with hundreds of lanters on the water, booths selling food and gifts, and all sorts of things, girls in yukata (summer kimono)... and when dusk is over and it's dark, they launch a spectacular fireworks display from the rafts high into the night sky. The fireworks are incredible, nothing like them has ever been seen in the USA. Okazaki is famous for it's fireworks, and has been manufacturing them for hundreds of years. Here's a clip I shot on my Sony DSC-P1 3 megapixel digicam, forgive it being tiny.

And no, the english isn't a translation of the Japanese. The japanese is a very simplistic explaination of what the video is. Forgive any grammatical or syntaxical mistakes in my Japanese, I haven't used it in a while.
